Developer Champions Program
Bioconductor is a big, diverse project that relies on contributions from volunteers. The Champions Program is an effort to recognize individuals outside the core team whose contributions ensure that Bioconductor remains a healthy, welcoming, and innovative scientific community.

Kozo Nishida Kozo Nishida is a member of the Bioconductor Community Advisory Board and has been actively involved in community outreach, training, and internationalization efforts. He has contributed to multilingual resources and community infrastructure, and has helped organize and promote Bioconductor activities in Japan and across Asia, including BioC Asia and local workshops (Osaka, Kyoto)
Dario Righelli Dario Righelli is a developer of SpatialExperiment, a Bioconductor package providing core data structures for spatially resolved transcriptomics data. He also co-leads the Bioconductor Classes and Methods Recommendations Working Group, contributing to discussions around object-oriented infrastructure and practices within the project. His involvement in Bioconductor also extends to community initiatives, including meetups and other activities that foster exchange and collaboration among Bioconductor users and developers.

Charlotte Soneson Charlotte is co-chair of the Bioconductor Training Committee, one of the deputy chairs of the European Bioconductor Society, current member of the European and North American Bioconductor conference committees and the workflow working group, and a previous member of the Bioconductor Technical Advisory Board and Code of Conduct committee.
